Encourage and promote post secondary education for 100% of Stanley High School graduates with financial support through the awarding of scholarships

Stanley’s local Dollars for Scholars Chapter has transitioned to Stanley Scholarship Funds, Inc. Our vision and mission have not changed. We still encourage and promote post secondary education for 100% of SHS graduates with financial support through the awarding of scholarships.

Our organization began as “Stanley School Endowment Fund” with a gift of land from Lawrence Elefson. We have grown with monetary gifts from many individuals. In 2003, we reorganized as Stanley Dollars for Scholars, and now have since reorganized once again as Stanley Scholarship Funds, Inc. as of July 2014.

A twelve member board continues to oversee the management of funds and the awarding of scholarships. In fact, this past spring almost $48,000 in scholarships were awarded to our graduating seniors.
Contributions are needed and appreciated. You can make a tax deductible gift (501)(c)(3) tax exempt or submit a donation on behalf of your class and challenge classmates to match! It’s a great way to share your time, skills, and ideas for fund raising events.
